The Trade Federation was built on the foundations of honor, integrity and profit and has always strived to abide by that motto. While the rest of the galaxy collapses in on itself due to corrupt politics and frivolous wars, the Trade Federation remains unscathed and continues to deliver goods throughout the entire galaxy.
Like all organizations, the Trade Federation also undergoes changes. A new Viceroy now presides over the Trade Federation resulting in many new changes being put into place. Viceroy Jacob Jansen has pledged to uphold the tenet of honor, integrity and profit by ensuring that the Trade Federation remains impartial in all matters relating to commerce and under no circumstances overlooking any client.
Despite the fact that the Trade Federation started as a small trading organization, it is now a superpower whose influence can be felt throughout the entire galaxy. With each passing day the Trade Federation solidifies its control on the systems in its jurisdiction which in turn results in many governments and factions lining up to create trade contracts with the Trade Federation. Now a fully fledged government headquartered in the Glythe Sector, the Trade Federation will remain unaffected by the war torn galaxy and continue its path of success.

:::TFNN Velm System, Centrality Sector:: Live from the Trade Federation Flagship, the Lucrehulk 3210 Battleship TFF Prosperity:::
The logo of the Trade Federation Viceroy appears on the screen and slowly is faded out and Jacob Jansen is seen standing on the bridge of the TFF Prosperity. Oblivious to the TFNN cameras, flight droids and Neimoidian bridge crew work in the background. The camera slowly zooms out and the rest of the Cabinet is seen standing behind the Viceroy.
"Citizens of the Trade Federation. I am speaking to you today to announce our new Duceroy. For many weeks Regent Bub'ba and I reviewed candidates who all overwhelmed us with their qualifications. We took many hours to discuss who we felt would be best suited for the colossal task of second in command of the Trade Federation. Finally, we came to a decision, and that decision was then brought to the Cabinet. With their unanimous support, the deed was done."
Jacob pauses for a moment.
"I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who was in the running for this position. I wish I could promote every one of you, but the job can only go to one person and in the end, a decision had to be made. You who were considered, and you know who you are, are all true assets to the Trade Federation. We are very lucky to have you and none of us will ever overlook your importance and loyalty."
Jacob takes a step closer to the podium and turns slightly facing the Cabinet at his side.
"Without further a due, I herby promote Minister of Defense, Kage Renbukai to the rank and post of Duceroy of the Trade Federation effective immediately!"

Jacob claps his hands as the new Duceroy bows to the cameras.
"Duceroy Renbukai is the most senior member of the Cabinet and all of us have the utmost faith in his leadership, dedication and loyalty. Still, his job won't be easy. Not only will he be working with me on a daily basis" Jacob pauses to smile, "but he will have a much wider realm to oversee. This realm includes every aspect of the Trade Federation. Even with all this, there is a more daunting task. That is filling the shoes of our last Duceroy, Bub'a Lou. I think we all agree, this will be his hardest task, but one I know he will be able to achieve."
Jacob and the rest of the Cabinet clap their hands as Duceroy Renbukai waves to the cameras.
"Now I give you our Duceroy, Kage Renbukai!" |

Glythe Sector, Vinsoth - In a small, formal ceremony this past week, longtime Confederate and former Duceroy Bub'ba Lou was appointed as Regent of the Trade Federation. Regent Lou recently stepped down from his post as Duceroy to focus his time and energy on other pursuits; however, Viceroy Jacob Jansen felt that Mr. Lou's experience and leadership abilities were such that he would be the perfect successor to former Regent Centauri Tyridius. After the promotion ceremony concluded, Mr. Lou issued a brief statement:
I told Viceroy Jansen that it was unfair to all we have accomplished and to that we have yet to accomplish for him to hold the Duceroy position for me any longer. I love the Trade Federation and am proud of what we have all accomplished since I began as the second-in-command of Confederate Mining Corporation over two years ago. Because of this love for what I have helped build and those who have helped to build it, I do not want to see us lose ground because I am not able to devote the time that the Viceroy's operational second-in-command must commit. This will indeed be the perfect solution to my situation while still allowing me to assist the Cabinet when I am able.
I am discussing with our Viceroy candidates for a new Duceroy who both have not only displayed initiative and leadership, but also have the time to commit to really assisting the Viceroy in the running of all that is the Trade Federation. Viceroy Jansen and I will expect a lot of my successor, so we do not want to make a rushed decision. Once we have completed the selection process and consulted with the individual to make sure it is a responsibility they both want and can live up to, you will know shortly there after.
Thank you again, all! |

Stenness Node Sector, Aweris System --- Following months of talks and weeks of non-stop fine tuning the Hapes Consortium and Trade Federation are gathering in the Stenness Node's Aweris System in order to sign a full alliance between the two close knit governments. This alliance, the first of its kind, for both governments will lead them to new and before unparalleled levels of success militaristically, economically, and socially.
Whispers of such an alliance were first rumored to exist almost half a year ago when Trade Federation Viceroy Jacob Jansen visited Hapan King Jessy James in the Hapan System. Since then both leaders have been discussing the possibilities of a full no strings attached alliance. Having settled the terms of the alliance, the leaders spent the good part of the last few weeks fine tuning all the small details with their respective governing councils before agreeing to the proposal at hand.
The recent acquisition of the Stenness Node Sector from the Galactic Empire was carefully planned out by both governments in order to act as a gateway between the Hapes Cluster and Glythe Sector. The sector will be jointly governed and developed into a bustling haven. Even now prospecting crews are en-route to survey the sector’s planets and defense forces are being dispatched to safeguard the citizens of the sector. In no time at all Bulk Freighters will be flown in carrying vast amounts of raw materials as well as their seasoned building crews in order to begin the expansion process.
Now live to the signing of the Declaration of Allegiance. Present at the ceremony are many notable members of the Hapes Consortium and Trade Federation including both the Hapan Crown Prince Alex Tylger and Trade Federation Duceroy Bub`ba Lou. Seen approaching the gilded table in the middle are King Jessy James and Viceroy Jacob Jansen both dressed in the dress uniforms befitting their honorable positions. With smiles on their faces and pens in hand they lean over the Declaration of Allegiance and sign at their respective spots. The two then both raise the signed declaration up for the cameras to see as they shake hands knowing that from this moment on the future of their governments will be forever interwoven and forever bright.
As cameras are seen flashing and reporters trying to get statements out the two leaders, the feed fades out to a star map of the Stenness Node Sector with the logos of the Hapes Consortium and Trade Federation displayed interlaced with one another. The image darkens and is replaced with a black background before returning back to the regularly scheduled programming. |

Ladies, gentlemen, and all beings of no defined gender thank you for joining us for one of the biggest announcements of the year to come out of the Trade Federation! Just over two weeks ago Viceroy Jansen announced that the position of Chief Justice needed to be filled and the number of applications that he received can be best defined as plenty. After carefully sifting through the applications with the Cabinet one applicant was nominated for the position. With the approval of the Duceroy the remaining Cabinet members placed their votes and today a new Chief Justice has been appointed. Everyone please put your hands together for a round of applause for the Trade Federation’s newest Chief Justice…
Bosco Plixt

Congratulations Chief Justice Bosco Plixt!

Dorinian Military Corp has announced the opening of public sales to citizens of the galaxy. Market analysts had estimated DMC’s public debut of sales would be imminent due to an increase in capital and production capacities. Dorinian Military Corp is the sole producer of the coveted military droids of the Trade Federation. For many years DMC has guarded their droids carefully. However, they have announced opening of public sales of their less guarded droids, including the Battle Droid, Pit Droid, 2-IB Droid, and the R1 Astromech droid.
DMC factories have recently been producing increased amounts of droids, a DMC spokesperson says. There has been a push for DMC products, particularly the Battle Droid. These are now being sold publicly through the Trade Federation Market.

Zone Supplies Limited Merges with Baktoid Armour Workshops |
|
On Year 11 Day 28 Zone Supplies Limited was officially absorbed into Baktoid Armour Workshop. This resulted from an Imperial Union purchase, in which each government of the Union equally funded the acquisition.
Zone Supplies Limited, formally under the command of Markus Blackheart, is a respected producer of numerous items, ranging from armors to survival equipment. Before the merger, ZSL factories had not produced for the public, however now all ZSL factories, equipment, and personnel will now be operating under BAW administration. Under BAW, these entities will be utilized to produce a wide variety of items. Former entities exclusive to ZSL will now be produced by BAW, as ZSL engineers and designers have begun to share their datacards.
The absorption of ZSL has swelled BAW’s capital assets. BAW is expected to have a large increase in production, solidifying their already galactic supremacy over item production. |
